General Imaging produces China-made digital cameras with the General Electric logo as part of a licensing agreement between the two companies. GE also sells small appliances that are produced by third-party manufacturers, but this is the first digital camera venture for the U.S. giant that produces everything from kitchen and laundry appliances to aircraft engines and power plants.
