Q&A: Juan Cento, Federal Express

U.S.-based Federal Express is the world's largest express transportation provider and the second-largest in Latin America, according to market research firm InfoAmericas. The company is the market leader in countries like Brazil and Mexico, but lags DHL in other key South American markets as well as the Central America region, according to InfoAmericas. The company does not break down Latin America revenues, but is seeing growth in the region, according to Juan N. Cento, president of FedEx Express for Latin America and the CaribbeanArgentina, Brazil and Mexico are the leading growth markets, he tells Latin Business Chronicle in a Q&A. Excerpts follow.
