Yahoo! is growing its sales in Latin America helped by more advertising and traffic and markets like Mexico and Argentina.
"We are very pleased and excited with our results this year," says Jose Rivera-Font, General Manager, Yahoo! Hispanic Americas. "The online investment in the region is growing faster than any other media and advertisers are already perceiving the benefits of adding Internet to their mix."
It now hopes to gain further traction with the launch of oneSearch and Yahoo! GO through wireless phones in Latin America. The two products are specifically tailored for the smaller screens of wireless devices, offering a better Internet experience than just seeing the traditional web pages.
