Adobe: Latin Growth Despite Crisis

Brazil, Colombia and Peru and government and education segments are helping drive Adobe’s growth in Latin America.

U.S.-based design software maker Adobe Systems Inc had a strong first quarter in Latin America despite the economic slowdown in the region. That followed a whopping 33 percent increase last year.

 

“Latin America grew 33 percent compared to the company’s overall growth of 13 percent,” says Marta Clark, who as sales director for Latin America and the Caribbean heads up Adobe’s operations in the region.  “2008 was our fifth year of continuous growth.”
