SAO PAULO - Do not call Rogerio Menezes a number cruncher. The chief financial and administrative officer of AkzoNobel Pulp and Paper Chemicals in Brazil would rather see himself as a salesman. “I sell chemical solutions mostly for the cellulose industry… My main job is to give the company all the economic and strategic support to expand and win new business,” says the 42-year old executive. He reckons he has to use his financial and managerial skills to lift new contracts for the company he joined in 2005.
