EU trade with Latin America Up

Spain and Italy grow above average.


Trade between the European Union and Latin America grew by 16.3 percent last year to 205.7 billion euro (US$266.2 billion), according to Eurostat, the official statistics agency.  

EU exports to Latin America increased 14.1 percent to 98.97 billion euro, while imports from Latin America expanded by 17.7 percent to 107.8 billion euro.

Spain, the third-largest trade partner, grew above the average EU rate. Its trade with Latin America last year increased ....
