Latin Wireless Index first-quarter results

Argentina's Telecom leads growth in revenues, according to the Latin Wireless Index of Latin Business Chronicle for this year's first quarter. However, its revenue of $846 million for the quarter was dwarfed by the industry leader, Mexico's America Movil.
America Movil, the flagship of Carlos Slim, reputedly the world's wealthiest business leader, earned almost $14 billion in revenues for the quarter, a 3.8 percent increase.
