Tourism: Costa Rica Most Competitive
Venezuela is now among the least-competitive tourism markets in Latin America.

Costa Rica has the most competitive tourist market in Latin America, while Paraguay has the worst, according to a new index developed by the Swiss-based World Economic Forum.
The index of 124 countries worldwide looks at 13 different factors measure travela and tourism competitiveness, including policy rules and regulations, safety and security, air transport and tourism infrastructure.
Chile and Mexico followed Costa Rica among the 18 Latin American countries measured. Cuba and Haiti were not included.
